Cognitive HealthTech secured a pitch competition win at the Global Woman Summit in London after presenting its pre-seed investment opportunity and vision for improving the understanding of cognitive health.

Global Woman Summit stage in London

Cognitive HealthTech has won a pitch competition at the Global Woman Summit in London, following an opportunity that came together unexpectedly just days before the event.

A chance meeting between Co-Founder and CEO Victoria Burnip and Mirela Sula led to an invitation for Victoria to pitch as one of three entrepreneurs in front of more than 600 women in business and over 30 investors.

Victoria presented Cognitive HealthTech's pre-seed investment opportunity, its brain-health monitoring platform and the company's ambition to help improve the way cognitive change is understood.

The pitch focused on the wider opportunity to move beyond isolated snapshots of cognitive performance and toward more personalised, longitudinal understanding through natural everyday interaction.

The company was subsequently named the winner of the pitch competition.

For Victoria, the result represented more than a single event. It reflected years of work, resilience and support from the people who have helped shape the company's vision from the beginning.

She also recognised Co-Founder Professor Christian Morgner and the wider network of supporters who have contributed to Cognitive HealthTech's journey.

The win comes at an important stage for the company as it continues its pre-seed investment journey and progresses the technology through research, product development and future clinical validation.

As Victoria reflected after the event:

This feels like the beginning of something.
