Cognitive HealthTech Named Sub-Regional Winner at the 2026 North East Business Awards
Cognitive HealthTech has been named sub-regional winner of the Start Up Award at the 2026 North East Business Awards and will progress to the Grand Final on 1 October.

Cognitive HealthTech has been named sub-regional winner of the Start Up Award at the 2026 North East Business Awards.
The recognition marks another significant milestone in the company's development and will see Cognitive HealthTech progress to the Grand Final on 1 October.
For Co-Founder and CEO Victoria Burnip, the announcement was particularly meaningful given the challenges involved in building a healthtech company from the ground up.
Cognitive HealthTech has been developed around the belief that a more continuous and personalised understanding of cognitive change could help improve how individuals and healthcare professionals navigate cognitive health.
Building that vision requires not only technology, but research, clinical collaboration, product development, regulatory preparation and sustained belief in the long-term opportunity.
The award is therefore an important recognition of the progress made by the team and the wider network of people who have supported the company since its earliest stages.
Victoria also highlighted the strength of the North East's entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem and the role it continues to play in supporting ambitious businesses.
Cognitive HealthTech would like to thank Lesley Hampson, the North East Business Awards team and the judging panel for the recognition.
The team now looks ahead to the Grand Final in October.
